The CDC Recommends Waterless Hand Sanitizer
Alchohol-based handrubs to significantly reduce the number of microorganisms on skin and substantially cut down on the spread of potentially lethal antibiotic-resistant bacteria. These products are fast acting and cause less skin irritation than antibacterial soaps.
Teachers, students, doctors, and healthcare personnel may be more inclined to use alcohol-based handrubs because they are more convenient to use.
